The Volunteer Coordinator supports Surfrider Atlantic Canada by organizing and engaging a passionate network of volunteers. This role involves recruiting and onboarding volunteers, coordinating participation in cleanups and events, maintaining regular communication, and fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment. The coordinator also tracks engagement, supports logistics, and works closely with chapter leadership to align volunteer efforts with Surfrider’s mission to protect our ocean, waves, and beaches.

We’re looking for someone whose got a passion for communications, including writing and designing content for social media! As the social media lead, you’d be running our Instagram, including sharing information on our campaigns, programs and events!

Supports the chapter’s financial health by keeping records organized, helping with budgets, and sharing regular budget updates with the executive committee.
